ITV1 FORCED TO SHOW AN ARSENAL GAME. I HATE ITV...

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

ITV1 FORCED TO SHOW AN ARSENAL GAME. I HATE ITV...

Its true.

the simple facts are ITV1 has shown just 1 Arsenal game since the Champions League final in Paris 2006.

That game was........

Liverpool v Arsenal.

Belive it or not it will be the first game on ITV1 live from the emirates.

Crikey they have not even shown us in the FA CUP this season. so if we do go back to wembley again. they will be forced to show us again on there main platform.

I HATE ITV......

Robbie Earl, Andy Townsend, Joe Cole, Teddy c*ntingham, Steve Ryder, John Toshaaaaaaaaaaakkk, FA cup (everton v Liverpool)

ITS A CIRCUS. ITS A CIRCUS. but i still hate setanta more.......

Shit TV network... the idea behind ITV is that it's a "regional" TV network. Therefore, Carlton should ALWAYS show a London club on it's terrestrial network; whether it's Arsenal or Chelsea. The fact that we are shown northern monkies regularly is disgusting.

However, I have 600 channels on my TV, whether it's on ITV1, 4, Skysports 1, SS3, Setanta etc,I can watch it anyway ;)

Surely as it's Arsenal some thing like Niall Quinn the Medical women (?) or something could be promoted and play on our usual ITV4.

oh! It's becuase we're playing the press & media's favourites. :banghead:

They showed the Porto home game in the group stage this year. But you are right about everything else.

Basically ITV will always show Man Ure or Liverpool over either us or the Russians on ITV1. Doesn't matter who we are playing, could be up against Barcelona and they would still show Mancs or Scousers v some part-time Faroe Islands ladies reserve side. Last year how on earth could they go for a banker home-win for them against Lyon instead of Milan v Arsenal?

Thing is most neutrals I know won't watch the Mancs in some one-sided home tie in Europe and switch over to The Arsenal anyway.

THEY JUST CANT DO ANY SPORT AT ALL!!!!!!

IM MEAN THEY WENT TO AN ADD BREAK DURING THE SCOUSE DERBY WHILE THE GAME WAS STILL IN ON AND MISSED THE FUKING GOAL, CANT YOU GET ANY WORSE?

They are fucking mongs. Sheringham is their main pundit for the FA Cup ffs.
They wouldn't want him doing our games..they probably don't want to upset the original Hardman... :lol:

Chelsea get the same from them. The commentary the other day was taking the piss out of them all game.

itv are a disgrace and i never watch and for those that knock setanta well they mightn't be the best but they do show every arsenal cl game without fail plus quiet a lot of our games at 3pm on a saturday over here and paul dempsey the anchor is a gooner

Watching City on ITV4 at the minute. Thought the bookies were a bit generous offering even money on them winning tonight so had a flutter. They're 2-1 up. Only problem is they need another goal to force extra time. Fuck that, defend properly and get me winnings!!! Come on City!!!
