CUP SEMI V CHELSEA

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

If he bags a couple 2moro would you begrudge him his bonus, I really think it's time to call off this vendetta go and see what happens between now and the summer.

When somebody treats you (ie the club and its fans) as shabbily as that *word censored* did in the summer then I aint big on forgiveness and I wont apologise for that. I want what is best for the team right now but I have to say that I have my heart set on that *word censored* being sold in the summer and I will be gutted if that doesnt turn out to be the case

Vieira courted clubs or at least wouldn't deny or confirm stories every summer, where do you stand on pv4?
I wanted ade sold last summer but he wasn't, and if he can now atone for his mistakes then I will support him in the future.

For me this is going to be a loss for us. I cant see us overcoming our defensive injuries against a team that can attack like Chelsea. I want so much to be wrong, but If Gibbs and Sagna do not play we wont win. If they both play we definatley can win. Hopefully our lineup is something like this:

--------------Fabianski----------------
Sagna----Toure---Silvestre----Gibbs
Walcott---Song--Fabregas--Arshavin
-----Van Persie------------------------
--------------Adebayor----------------

Eduardo, Denilson, Nasri, Eboue, Bendtner, Diaby, w/e GK

Of course Eboue is good cover if Sagna is out. Nasri can play in either Walcott, Arshavin, or RVPs positions. Eduardo can play either of the 2 forward spots.

Oh and if Gibbs is out I predict we lose 2-1. Gibbs is in I think we win 2-1.

Yes, not just because of him, but because then we'd have to put Silvestre at LB and then Song at CB which will not be good enough, especially because then we lose Song in the midfield.

OK Chippy Jnr has suggested a return to 2-3-5 and using the traditional numbering system here's the team

1 Fab
2 Sagna
3 Gibbs
4 Toure
5 Cesc
6 Nasri
7 Vela
8 RvP
9 Eduardo
10 Arshavin
11 Theo

Or

1 Fab
2 Toure
3 Silvestre
4 Nasri
5 Cesc
6 Ramsey
7 Arshavin
8 RvP
9 Ade
10 Eduardo
11 Theo
