Some good news...

Post by exiled in notts »

According to BBC News, Ferguson was attacked at Euston station last night. Only minor injuries unfortunately, but give the assailant the freedom of the city now I say.

Makes a change doesn't it? An aggressive, drunken, paranoid, incoherent Glaswegian being on the receiving end of an assault at Euston.

He sustained leg injuries apparently. Now he knows how opposition wingers feel after an afternoon being chopped to the deck with impunity by Gary Neville.

now, how did he sustain injuries to his feet ? was he bitten or just tackled in a foul way ? :D :D :D :D

seriously though, no matter who is involved (even for the manscum scum mgr), there is no need to celebrate this ... must have been a frightening experience for the man ...

The article above gives a clearer picture of the incident ... fergie was punched in the groin (ouch !) ...

What got me LOL, was:
'[Reynolds' defence counsel] added that her client said he was joking around and that he struck Sir Alex whilst shadow boxing.

Sitting magistrate Daphne Wickham said: "I do not think Sir Alex Ferguson saw this as a joke." '

In the light of the above link, I'd like to withdraw my earlier support of Mr Reynolds. He's clearly a deeply unpleasant and violent drunk. It must have been like looking in the mirror when he clocked Fergie.

I'm surprised that the drunk didn't come out with the excuse that he kicked a football boot on the floor in anger and it accidently hit Fergie in the groin, he didn't mean it, honest guv!

Where was Fergie's '20' bodygards while this happed? my guess is they got fed up with the hair dryer treatment from fergie and paid the drunk to kick him
