Our support

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Yet some of the rich snobs that disgrace us every week at home games got tickets.

Like everything else at the club at present, an utter shambles.
Fed up reading these types of posts, slagging Arsenal fans.

To many wankers who don't go every week having a dig at Arsenal fans who actually put there hand in there pocket and go to games.
But how do the away following get tickets if they are not season ticket or away scheme :?
Yes mate that was exactly my point. Alot of our away fans aren't on the away scheme and so didn't get tickets, yet the rich boys up in diamond level etc who have never been away in their lives and don't know who is playing half the time get their day out in wembley sitting down moaning like at AG every week.

I imagine nearly all the people off here who were at Wembley yesterday sang their hearts out, I know I did :barscarf:

Just the way footballs gone. One day it'll goto the dogs and they'll throw it back to the working classes.

Oh yes the hundreds of tickets on sale  but like i said the away scheme members go to all games and they all got a ticket and so did season ticket holders with 3+ credits then it went down to season ticket holders. So I think the Away support was there yesterday.

I thought we out sang the Chavs before the game and during the first half.

I was sitting in block 504 at the front and it was rocking for a lot of the game.

It is impossible to judge how well other parts were singing other than the Chav end being noticeably quiet for a lot of the game.

I was unfortunately watching at home while Gus was there and I have to say that the Arsenal were far louder :barscarf:

AS WAS SAID IN A PREVIOUS POST, THE ATMOSPHERE ON THE WAY ON THE TUBE AND INTO THE GROUND WAS FAR BETTER THAN INSIDE THE STADIUM, IN FACT THE CONCOURSES WERE LOADER THAN OUT IN THE STADIUM. WAS IN BLOCK 519 AND WAS ONE OF THE FEW WHO GAVE IT SOME EFFORT, THE REST IN THE BLOCK.....PURE SHIT!!!!!

At this stage I think we could either make this a sticky or ban anybody from starting any of these threads again  To be honest I am sick of reading posts slating the fans from some people who werent even at the fcuking game  I was in block 103 (I think :? It was lower tier bang on 18 yard line) and the fans all around me were giving it large for most of the away game and I thought that we easily outsang them 8) There was this one fella (in his late 20's or 30,s even) who was giving out a lot at a younger Gooner in front of me who kept standing up singing although to be fair to the complainer he did have 2 young kids with him who couldnt see when everyone stood up.

I will agree 100% though that the lack of songs aimed at cashly and terry's mum did piss me off and surprise me too as I thought they would have been slaughtered

Hit a nerve did I?
How do you know I don't go to games? Have fun with your rich knob friends from work in the complimentary seats.
I don't think you hit a nerve as you know nothing about him, he could be a dole scrounger for all you know so it's a bit of a stupid comment to make don't you think????

I imagine he's like me who is just shocked at your generalisation of yesterdays crowd which was made out from watching it wherever you were, you have skillz mate.

I thought the support was fairly decent yesterday, if everyones honest it's NEVER great (even in Red action at home, it has it's moment so lets not pretend), sure it's easier to create a noise away if 3,000 hardcore fans go but go to any ground in the country and I imagine it's the same where it's not a sea of noise, just don't think it happens anymore.
