kolo toure
this performance summed up why hes not good enough to be a centre back at a big club. apprecited he had crap around him (sagna dreadful as hes been all season) but toure is/was also shockingly error prone, has no composure, get 10 million from man city for him and sign one of arshavins mates.
shava:the best player at the club period.

gallas is the best we have, toure was decent if error prone, this season hes gone, and hes not exactly a calming influence, im sure i'll calm down soon, but if im shava id think im off in the summer with this shite behind me. (only 2 1st choice defenders out remember) and if fabianskis tipped for greatness, i might resurrect my gk career and earn 20 grand a week for being shit

Seeing as Toure lined up with Sanga to his right Sylvestre to his left and Gibbs the furthest away from him, how would you have him cover Gibbs so he wasn't exposed? Surely that's Sylvestre's job?rodders999 wrote:Agreed. Toure is the senior Arsenal player at the back and he was fucking appalling all night. Gibbs was left horribly exposed for the whole game. Sagna looked like he was still ill and Sylvestre was his usual poor self. As for our "keeper"...............
I hope I have just mis read your statement and that the reason it flows together like it does is because you're just getting your thoughts down as quickly as possible.

There's steam coming out my ears I'm trying to get my thoughts out so fast number 5. You're spot on! What I meant was Kolo should have been the chief organiser back there making sure Sylvestre was backing up Gibbs whenever he could. Instead it seemed to me that Kolo just fiddled as Rome burned all around him. Zero organisational skills.

totally agree. for too long now our defence has tried to pass the ball out of the box, and resulted in epic failure. we need TA6 to come back and teach that lot how to hoof.n7gooner wrote:Why can't we clear any balls it seemed that everything scuffed or went stright to a scouse player. Toure did this two or three times as did sanga silvestre kept playing it back dangerously.
