Our defence has been pretty much a disgrace all season, way too many mistakes are made on too many occassions, spurs at home, liverpool tonight, villa at home and away, man city away to name a few! Don't get me wrong i'd have well taken a point at the start and going forward we were excellent but what's the point if your defence is gonna let you down? Did any one see how pissed off Cesc looked at the finish? He knows the defence is crap! Our back four ain't even good enough to hold on for a few bloody minutes! With this back four against united over two legs we're gonna ship shit loads! Sylvestre is shit and too slow, we should have re-called Senderos from milan and that's desperate!

We went to Anfield, to play Liverpool, who are 2nd, out of all other trophies and have already destroyed man U at their Gaff, with loads of injuries, a half strong defence, 2nd choice keeper, and a 5th choice striker.

Got outplayed at anfield (surely an actual crime)
And drew 4-4 what a disgrace.
Sure we throught the lead away, but so did they.

Fabianski was excellent, not his fault for any of the goals.
Gibbs was very good,
Song and Cesc played well

 What game were you watching,
Fabianski excellent  , what exactly did he do that made him excellent tonight.
Gibbs very good  , he certainly wasn't very good, whilst i don't blame him because he had little cover and the defenders round him didn't inspire any confidence, he was average at best tonight.
Song and Cesc played well  we used to dominate the midfield every game even against the big boys and even in losing, watching Liverpools midfield overwhelm our midfield for most of the game as it did tonight, leaving us pretty much to hitting them on the break is mainly the responsibility of the centre of the midfield so to say they played well is more than a slight exaggeration. Cesc by his standards was poor tonight as he was saturday and has been most of the season and if Song's performance tonight is enough for you to be happy then you are obviously easily pleased.

Wenger has lost the plot. The line up tonight was poor again.
Bendtner is not a lone striker. Denilson is a million miles away from something resembling form. Silvestre is a pathetic excuse for a defender.

Well I for one thought he picked the ball out of the net like you wouldn't believe. He got down quickly, smothered the ball well and every time he did it one of our players had the next touch.

What more can you ask?

Fabianski kept us in the game, especially in the first half... I think they must have had about 20 shots on goal in the game, and there wasnt anything he could do about the goals. He made 3 or 4 outstanding saves.
Gibbs was good, considering he was isolated by silvestre.

And yes I think song and Cesc did have good games, Denilson was no where tonight and them 2 did a good job, they covered a hell of a lot of ground and to be honest put Alonso and Macherano generally out of the game.

You cant go to Anfiled and expect to dominate.
Im not saying that our team is perfect. Our CB's were shoddy, so was sagna and strengthening is needed, but i honestly cant understan the negativity tonight. What did you exoect tonight? A stroll in Stanley Park. Even the invicibles would have taken that result tonight.

thought cesc had a bad game tonight, taking to long on the ball. nasri should of hoofed that ball up the field for theo to run on to but didn't which cost us a goal. fab was poor tonight also. i know he had a shit defense in front of him but i think he shold of done better for torres second.

on a positive note we played shit tonight yet we all feel as we lost the game

Gone.

Nah I really can't stand Silvestre or that weak little *word censored* Denilson.

Not just that they are shit, but they don't work hard enough especially Denilson and they just don't care.

 If Gibbs had been an established player then his performance tonight would have been poor, so i am giving him the benefit of the doubt because he is cutting his teeth and he is playing in a defence that is second rate and also he was given little cover from the midfield but he certainly didn't do any better than average. :banghead: :banghead:

   I think your having a wind up aren't you, their midfield were swarming all over us in our half for most of the second half and the majority of the first, most of the midfield possession we had was on the break. :banghead: :banghead:

:) No you can't but i expect the midfield to hold their own as prior to this season we at the very least did regardless of who we were playing or where, especially when the oppositions best midfielder by a mile is missing, our midfield interplay is so not up to our standards this season and that is what our game is based on, it's been the biggest dissapointment of this season, it's partly down to cesc not being on his game but also the guys playing in the middle with him aren't capable of imposing themselves on the game as flam did last season. The fact that we are happy because Song has actually done the job he was supposed to be doing all season to an adequate level of late says it all really, we have seen so much crap from some of our players this year some of us have actually lowered our standards as to what qualifies as a good performance. :(

Im not saying that our team is perfect. Our CB's were shoddy, so was sagna and strengthening is needed, but i honestly cant understan the negativity tonight. What did you exoect tonight? A stroll in Stanley Park. Even the invicibles would have taken that result tonight

:) Yes it was a good result i agree ,far better than i expected, but lets not kid ourselves we deserved it or that players that didn't play well were fantastic, had AA not done his stuff it's just as likely we could of got hammered with the exact same performance, so if you are going to critique the performances at all do it on what you actually saw not with the rose tinted specs. :)

Theo did well when he came on
And Arshavin was simply outstanding.

WENGER MUST WALK NOW

Thats all it was
Totally agree. We're riddled with injuries:

Almunia,
Gallas,
Djourou,
Sagna (still getting over a virus)
Rosicky,
Van Persie,
Adebayor,

Had we have been able to defend we would have won this game... though don't get me wrong. We didn't deserve it... at all!

Take AA out of the game and we would have been slaughtered. Couldn't see goals coming from anywhere else.

3 of his goals were pretty much individual brilliance. A much needed lesson in finishing to the rest of the squad.

We had a one man team because everyone else was under par. I'll give Fabianski the benefit because he did stop a couple and he had the keystone cops in front of him.

Unbeaten in 19 Prem games.
Unbeaten by the top 3 in the Prem.

If only the we had a decent defence. :banghead:
