Bucket List

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Bucket List

Post by olgitgooner »

Just watched a brilliant film. The Bucket List.

Starring Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman (both legends to me).

Two terminally ill middle-aged men decide to do the things they always wanted to do. Before they die. It's called a bucket list.

On the bucket list were things like skydiving, witness something really majestic, kiss the most beautiful girl in the world, see the pyramids, race cars on an Indy track, climb a mountain.

If you had six months left to live, what would be on YOUR bucket list?

Anyway OG, to go back to your original question, number 1 on my bucket list would be to see The Arsenal win the Champions League, I could very well die happy after this great event, especially if we beat Chavski to this achievement.

I've left it a while before answering this as I wanted to give it some thought and do it seriously (yes I know, very unusual for me)

so here goes:-

the obvious ones first,

Arsenal to win the treble whilst having a season like this

P38 W38 D0 L0 GF114 GA0 Pts 114

Spuds to get relegated
Chavs to be declared bankrupt following the departure of the russian gangster
Manure forced to sell all their players to meet their debts
Liverpool fans to finally be held accountable for their part in Hillsborough so we don't have to hear about it any more.

now for the less obvious

To know what it is to be truely loved (I might already be but I don't know for sure)
To change another persons life for the better
To be the best friend to somebody
To see somebody I love smile with true happiness
To have the courage to say what I really want to say to those that matter to me
To swim with Dolphins

and now for the totally unlikely

To find a cure for cancer

Spuddy, that was an excellent answer.

And very touching. (gulp).

The cure for cancer....I'm sure we all no somebody close to us who has died because of this bloody awful disease.

And all the other stuff you mentioned was good, too.
