Well its been officially announced by Wenger that we have no Gallas, Senderos or Eboue for the game aainst the spuds and although Sagna is back he is in some pain but should be ok if we need him!
Well doesnt that just fill you with confidence!
Firstly this highlights the foolishness of AW's decision to let Djourou out on loan and secondly highlights the general lack of depth in the squad, especially when the ACN comes around!
So who are we going to play then??
My guess would be
Sanga Gilberto Toure Clichy
But against the likes of Berbatov and Bent both of whom can score them in the prem should we really be playing a half injured player and a midfielder whos just flown half way around the world in our back four??
Anyone got any other suggestions? Anyone have the faith in Hoyte perhaps?
I was going to say the same as you rebel but was trying to deliberate with myself where I would want a player who is not 100% fit and judging by the fact that gareth bale is going to play left wing I'd say have Sagna out there on the right rather than against Berb and Keane
Hoyte hates Tottenham and would work hard for the cause. read the papers on the way home and there all backing a away win now thats more of a worry to me
Sanga is a class above but if not fuly fit, worth playing Hoyte in the right or maybe Flamini at right back and Hoyte in the centre. Either way, we always conceded against Spurs anyway but we have enough going forward to win it.
Glad Senderos is banned He would fuck it up in this game. Why not bring in HÃ¥vard Nordtveit??? I`m sure he is better than Senderos, or even Gilberto in central defence. But I know this will not happen, so i go for Toure and Gilberto central.
Come on you Gunners-do me proud to day!
