NO CASE FOR THE DEFENCE

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Myles Palmer

I could not agree more.

Palmer's last blog lays into Song amongst others- probably the most improved midfielder in the prem this year who did not even play against Chelsea as well as Denilson and Adebayor and a Diaby returning from injury- Palmer's criticism is unreasonable, uninformed and is not constructive.

If Chelsea lost their back 4, keeper and reserve centre back through injury- would that have not disrupted their whole side? Would Chelsea have beaten a full strength Arsenal in the Cup? Answer No.

Is the Cup important.... ask Ferguson why he fielded a weakened side against Everton before answering that one.

I think "case for the defence" / "no case for the defence" is the most overused title in football journalism and blogs
