Man U away game - on at The Rocket

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Will there be any prostitutes there plying their wares?
Probaly not, try Market Road, should find a few willing ladies (I use that word loosely) in the vicinity.

i think we all know that the beer is shite watered down or not, the cue for the bar is always too long, service is generally crap.

but its big and its sole purpose is for us to watch the game so we can pretty much get away with whatever we want to football related. hopefully a good crowd and a better game.

Me too, best you don't go in the rocket then. They kicked me out for putting up an Arsenal flag.
Any chance of advising when this was goonarmy? Having been involved with The Rocket since day 1 I can't remember any such incident. In fact I think there have only been about 2 ejections in nearly 3 seasons, but then again I maybe wrong. If you were ejected for trying to put a flag up it would seem to be a tad heavy handed.

The council did stop us from putting up our giant flag in the entrance as it was not fire retardant, so maybe this was the cause of you being asked to take yours down?

i dobt very much the beer is watered down, its pretty illegal to do so.

what i would think they do is either sell off the really old stock barrels that are nearing expiry or have just been there the longest, or change the barrels for different beers so you're getting hofmeister as opposed to what's on the tap, against trade description i'm sure but doubt its that illegal. These are just opinions by the way.

but the truth is its a student bar, don't expect zone1 sloan type grog in that place, the point is its more of a place to hang out on match day.
