FECKING UNBELIEVABLE RESULT!! :o  8)

DIDN'T MANAGE TO CATCH THE GAME BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN SICK FOR THE PAST COUPLE OF DAYS AND CONFINED TO BED, BUT BEFOREHAND I REALLY FEARED FOR US TODAY WITHOUT GALLAS AT CENTRE-HALF. THE BOYS, HOWEVER, DONE BRILLIANTLY AGAIN AND GAVE THE SPUDS ANOTHER FOOTBALL LESSON AND COULD HAVE WON BY MORE GOALS BY ALL ACCOUNTS. 8) :)

WHAT HAVE I SAID ABOUT ADEBAYOR IN THE PAST? HE MAY NOT BE PERFECT BUT HE IS A BIG MATCH PLAYER, AND GIVES US A DIFFERENT OPTION WHICH WE DIDN'T HAVE BEFORE, THAT'S WHAT!! 8)

5 GOALS IN 4 GAMES AGAINST THE SPUDS - NOW IF THAT IS NOT WORTHY OF LEGENDARY STATUS, I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS!! ANOTHER INTERESTING STATISTIC IS THAT WE HAVE WON 15 OUT OF 17 GAMES IN WHICH ADEBAYOR HAS SCORED, AND DRAWN THE OTHER 2. NOW THAT'S WHAT I CALL A TALISMAN!! (T.S. YOU WILL SEE THE LIGHT EVENTUALLY!!) 8)

AS FAR AS I WAS CONCERNED, THIS WAS OUR FIRST REAL TEST OF THE SEASON AND WE HAVE PASSED IT WITH FLYING COLOURS!! ARSENE AND THE BOYS MIGHT MAKE A BELIEVER OUT OF ME YET!! 8)

I'LL LEAVE YOU GUYS WITH A SONG:

"SACKED IN THE MORNING,
YOU'RE GETTING SACKED IN THE MORNING,
SACKED IN THE MORNING,
YOU'RE GETTING SACKED IN THE MORNING!"

well...we created the usual plethora of chances and didn't convert a lot. the miss by diaby in the first half summed up our performance. i didn't catch the first 6 minutes but heard we had a great shot saved or something.

2nd half and the game exploded. both teams had decent chances, and when almunia ran up the field (god knows why) to attempt to clear a through ball and completely made a meal of it, it was berbatov v toure and i was thinking "shit 2-0 surely". somehow toure tackles n wins the ball and the danger was cleared. a huge sigh of relief.

the adebayor goal came from some foul which i forgot. nice floater by fab then manu gets there first n smacks it past robinson. yay.

somewhere between the first n second goals 2 spuds attempts occured.
a)keane manages to beat the offside trap and is free with a good shot but manages to shoot right into almunia.
b) spuds corner and berbatov volleys straight into clichy's chest then heads the rebound up into the stands. CLOSE stuff.

the fab gaol came from a break. a ball is won, then flamini(or hleb?) bursts thru the middle and passes to rosicky. he lays off to fab who steadies and unleashes a stunner which robinson could only flail with his fingertips into the middle left side of the back of the net. pure bliss.

by this time spuds called the bloke who was bought for more money than we sold henry. and by the time the game was finished he looked a worse flop than juan sebastien veron for manure. the two chances darren bent had any striker could've made a decent attempt, but no he completely shanked his 2 kicks (especially the second "effort").

3rd goal puts the icing on the cake. cesc passes the ball to adebayor whose first touch curls the ball into the air and beats dawson, then proceeds to volley it into the top left corner. it was great seeing the faces of the spuds fans behind the goal. absolutely NO movement whatsoever.

anyway, all in all a very decent game. played well enough but still would like more clinical finshing. does diaby seriously know how to score?

I was at Brads Hatch all day and had to listern on a shitty portable radio, i tuned into TALKSport but on all radio stations i only got updates :x so when it said Spurs 1 Arsenal 0 after 15 minutes i was in a well bad mood, all the kept doing every 5/10 minutes was say still 1-0 Spurs but Arsenal are all over them, this was making me more nervous because i was starting to feel like one of those days.
At HT i said to my uncle if Spurs try and hold out for a 1-0 Arsenal would score, i also said im feed up of hearing how well we are playing but not scoring so my plan was to turn of the radio for 15 minutes so thats what i did.
When i put it back on strait away Cesc scored and all of a sudden I felt well again i knew then that we would win, The sun came back out, i felt better again and Arsenal won 3-1 so in the end a great day :D :D :D

I can't believe how sick i felt while i couldn't watch the game it's all sky's fault :x
