As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
And knowing Arsenal, they'll be covered in adverts for lucozade / ebel / emirates / season ticket waiting list / nike / samsung / o2
Hand them out to kids maybe, but are grown men really going to sit there grinning like *word censored* waving 99p store flags? Fuck it, let's go the whole hog and give EVERY supporter a free facepaint!
Percy Dalton wrote:We will do our best but we have to accept out support, more so at home, is shit.
You may not like the truth but that is fact. Our noise levels are pretty embarrassing at times.
I hope to god that some of our theatre goer type supporters actually find their voices on Tuesday.
The thing that shames me the most is the comments on that redcafe forum are wholly true.
Loads of stuff on that red cafe forum was wrong, they're obviously deaf as well as stupid as they couldn't make out the words we were singing or even whose fans were singing (guess they weren't there, surprise surprise). Granted we've not got the most inventive songs but our away support isn't shit, most of the time it's pretty good. Our home support is poor but then so is United's, and how many times do the cameras pan around Old Trafford and you see more old biddys and kids than anything else? No-one rates the Theatre Of Prawns for atmosphere
By saying that our support is shit more so at home I am clearly saying it is better away! So can you not see we have agreed on that point!
The fact is though our away aupport is not fantastic either. Worthing Gooner on here who seems to go to every game himself states that we are singing the same five songs game in and game out.
You say the statements on the redcafe forum are untrue and that I am wrong to agree with them. Prove me wrong for thinking this by naming some original songs we sing regularily that are not primarily based around chanting a players name.

To me, 'our support is shit more so at home' means our away support is shit and our home support is more shit. I don't agree about our away support. Now you say our away support is 'not fantastic'. I call that back-tracking
Don't know where I said you were wrong to agree with red cafe
I said myself that we don't have the most inventive songs 'so can you not see that we have agreed on that point!'
I think volume is more important than variety when it comes to away support, players don't know or probably care what you're singing as long as you make some noise, and I think away from home we do make decent noise
Call it what you like but it isn't back tracking. Our support is shit to be brutally honest. Our home support is shit and our away while better is nothing to be proud about. I have been away and often find myself wondering why we are singing "We hate Tottnum" while playing say Stoke!
We are well known for being quite and unimaginative. We didn't get piss take names like Highbury the library for nothing.
I agree that the volume away may be better propportionally then what is generated at home but I think it is true to say our repetoire of songs is limited to say the least.
We must do this. Our most important game of the season so far, please oh please everyone who is reading this, please sing your heart out for the entire game, and don't sit in silence if they score, we must get behind them, and you need to make sure you do, saying it is one thing, doing it is another.
And what about that *word censored* on that USA forum:
'Interestingly Chelsea sent back 1600 tickets for Tuesdays match, why do cockneys not travel?
That would have never happened with a midlands or northen Club!'
Sums up northerners, aparentely all southern clubs have shit support. Wankers :awnker:

The reputation of our support is in tatters if this goes ahead. Where the fuck is redaction when you need them??
Not really sure how REDaction are supposed to stop the club buying 57,000 flags?
I thought the club consulted with redaction about atmosphere issues??
