Whose idea was it for the 60,000 flags

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Radford thinks the idea of grown people waving a small flag frankly pathetic. he does not in anyway create an intimidating atmosphere. He feels its all a load of bollocks

In my experience loads of people will get in there early and nick the flags to sell on ebay, so you probably don't have to worry about what it looks like on the TV....

My and my kids are lucky enough to be going tonight - and promise to get there early, sing our hearts out for the lads and will still be there to applaud them off at the end - win, lose or draw.

Flag or no flag, please everyone give your all tonight. It's a tall order but all we ask of the players is that they give it there absolute best, expelling every ounce of energy they have in process. The fans must do the same. If the journey is to end here, i'd like to think players & supportes alike will leave the ground knowing there was no more they could have done. No regrets. FUCKING COME ON! :barscarf:

Yep the flags will probably be gone by the time you get to your seat just like the last game at Highbury and the Champions League Final t shirts too

id rather they gave out those clap bangers, at least they make a noise, whereas waving a flag stops people clapping etc.
