GOALKEEPING PROBLEMS

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Michael Rensing is the German I wanted. Arsene does seem to have an eye for a keeper, he knew Taylor wasn't good enough and that Jens could be a world class number 1 for us.

We aint going 2 sign a new keeper cos any decent keeper will be cup tied for europe. Anyway do you think fabiniski would be happy if wenger brought in another keeper above him ? Like it or not we are stuck with either jens or almunia(blessing myself) and that is not good. Wenger has always imo had a problem with keepers either by retaining some for too long or buying the wrong ones. Personally my shortlist would contain juskalian (brutal spelling i know) of bolton, frey(french), boruc(celtic) or as an outside shot casillas from real madrid who I have always believed wanted to sign buffon. Again I cannot understand the logic of signing fabinski - if wenger rates him then put him in cos he must be better than almunia ?? Roll on the carling cup
