LOOK ITS NOT THE ATTACK ITS REALLY OUR DEFENCE

LOOK ITS NOT THE ATTACK ITS REALLY OUR DEFENCE

Post by Calo »

i know ade is a ciunt and robin a poser and theo a lightweight and bentner a nelly the elephant BUT

we cant defend and when we attack we dont get bodies forward lik we used to in the box prob cause we too scared about what will happen we teams hit us on the break

WORSE DEF I HAVE EVER SEEN and ive been going since 1976

told you guys before if the famous 5 wasnt there when wenger arrived we have won f all then

you need a defence as well as an attack to be successfull

Agreed.

Watching Chelski last week brought back memories of the mid 90's where we were virtually ubreachable at the back.

On reflection, we probably were only going to pull out a result last night about one time in a hundred.

It was almost inconceivable to think that we could commit players forward and not get hit on the break. What is really disappointing is that we were already 2-0 down before they scored the inevitable breakaway goal!

I agree that our defense needs strengthening but you cannot take away from the fact that in the two games against yanited we didnt create one clear goal scoring chance.

Far to easy to defend against adebayor and van persie, sit deep and crowd the middle of the pitch and make us use long balls to which vidic and fedinand win every header.

Just look at the movement from yanited three attackers yeaterday and compare this to ours. We always used to have the attacking threat united had last night, since henry, pires and ljunberg has gone we have no movement upfront what so ever!!

So well put, at least under G.G. we won, it was not pretty....!

I really love what A.W. has done completely for Arsenal, but he must move with the times and stengthen the squad to help our young players.

I hope he thinks long and hard over the summer...

wat im trying to say is he can win with style he did it 3 PL BUT he cant build a def from strach and tactically train them - perhaps he should take over at Bolton as they have a much better defence

f knows wat Pat rice ever leant from all the managers he served under

Our attack is too indirect when the opponent puts 7-8 defenders in the box. The movement of the ball is slow as well.

not enough international quality - is our problem

our starting 11 use to be full of quality internationals now we only
have 4

Cesc, Arshavin, RVP & Nasri

Gallas is fucked at international level, did you see him in the Euros and Clichy is france 3rd choice left back behind Abidal & Evra

Sagna is a regular for France, Gallas is a regular for France, Song is a regular for Cameroon, Toure is a regular for Ivory Coast, Adebayor is a regular for Togo and Theo is about to become a regular for England.

That's all players but Almunia and Clichy.

It's not so much the (individual) players but the combination - Kolo and Gallas hate each other and it shows.....Sagna and Clichy are both excellent, but need some decent mid-field players in front of them who can DEFEND as well as go forward....and of course there's our Goalie problem.... :banghead:
