As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
I don't Give a flying fuck if it takes you 10 mins to leave the ground because it takes me just as long. Its your type of support that has ruined this club. Why will you leave early if we are 2 down at half time instead of getting behind the team and pushing them on.
Why would we build the stadium by the M25? That comment proves what type of fan you are.

I agree with that but for someone to suggest that they would leave at half time if we went 2-0 down to chelsea on sunday makes me angry. Then to say the club should have moved to somewhere on the M25 show what kind of fan they are.
I'm just off to work now but unfortunately I've got the image of Mrgnu in front of his tv, looking at Ms Stone and touching himself and quite frankly I feel ill!!!
Bad night last night boys and girls but keep the faith!!
This is ridiculous. A thread with people in Australia and America having a pop at people who paid for a ticket last night and decided to leave when the tie was over (approx 11 minutes in).
I've never left a game early, and very rarely leave dead on the final whistle, however last night I would have probably gone home at half time if I was there. Why fucking torture yourself? The tie was over.
And yes, supporters are supposed to "support", but players are supposed to "play". Apart from Nasri, no-one else turned up last night.
In that case you can't moan at the players then. You say we should support the team so all the people who left early failed to do that just like the players failed to play.
Well I left just before we got the penalty for 2 reasons, most importantly because I suffer a chronic illness which affects my balance and I dont cope well with the large crowd queing for the tube (if its a saturday game I stay til the end and go to a cafe or pub where I can sit down until the crowd clears but on a night game I dont get that luxury) the second reason was I was fed up with our spineless performance as soon as the second goal went in most of our players clearly gave up. Pehaps Wenger will take some notice of the number who left early, perhaps the players will hang their heads in shame but I doubt it. The only options most of us have for expressing our opinion on the performance, which even the most dedicated of us have to admit was not good enough, is voting with our feet or booing.
N7 you are getting really boring on this. You are right, you are the only true supporter on here, all the rest of us are just JCLs and plastic fans, even if we have been going to games for 40 years. My admiration for you being the one and only true gooner knows no bounds and I will be starting a cult in your honour soon.
For the record I left with about 8 mins to go, just after the useless free kick that almost led to a freak Cesc goal. I stood for the entire game and sang throughout. Chippy Junior needed to go to school today and there didn't seem to be much point prolonging the agony and then getting home at 1 in the morning.
But of course you are right, I am having a ceremonial burning of my cards after the Stoke game as I am obviously not worthy of being in the same stadium as you.
I was in the redsection last night, and regardless of what you say or think about it, its been a real god send having a section like that to be in.
The game was pretty much over at 2-0 thats a giver, but with 80 minutes of football to play we could have saved some pride and gone out fighting, thats what i stayed and sung my heart out for, at that point it was not to make the final, but to see some real grit. There was none. and there hadn't really been any since the first one went in.
The 3rd goal i have actually mentally blocked out considering i was only some 60 odd yrds away and actually watched it go in
At this point my first thought was how many more were going to go in. And then to look to my side and see empty seats, IN THE REDSECTION really shook me.
Its wrong to lable last night as early leavers. Thats what you get on a normal match day. Last night was an exodus born out of frustration and disappointment. I feel sad for those that left early because i understand how they felt. But you still should't

It is becoming the norm for a lot of users of this forum to act like N7!
This place seems to have turned into a "I am a bigger than you" competition!
i often see people leaving early from this "red section", its usually during the time youre singing "is there a fire drill", you look over and you can see people leaving for the exits in the red section.

n7...you're talking a load of cock. There are plenty of legit reasons for leaving a game early. Last night there were more reasons than usual. Those that chose to vote with their feet had a right to do so. You had a right to stay to the end too.
Did you notice whilst being a superfan that was still watching in the 93rd minute, that the team had left about 82 minutes before you!!
