Mancs in the home end

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Mancs in the home end

Post by Wintz »

I dont no what other people saw last night but every where i looked there were problems with mancs in with all us gooners. There was even one behind me where a season ticket holder had given his ticket to him as he couldnt attend :banghead:

I think this is disgusting that we couldnt sell out the ground and there was soo many mancs around the ground in the arsenal end. The bloke behind me basically jumped up when the first one went in. I turn round and said something to him but i think that its more the bloke who gave him the tickets fault. Especially as he is a season ticket holder :banghead:

Did any one else have any problems??

Happens all the times at big games. The stewards don't give a fuck, and if you square up to one, you'll get kicked out..... and yes, I speak from experience :x

yeah i understand that. I didnt do anything else for fear they would chuck me out. But how could any loyal arsenal fan and season ticket holder give their ticket up to a manc :banghead:

Liverpool games my mates brother usually comes with us as the guy from south coast usually passes up the game, still he never makes a sound if Liverpool score as he knows better. And if none of us were going there is no way he would get the ticket to go on his own.

Anyone who gave those *word censored* a ticket in our end is a wanker end of story.
The same shit was happening with West Ham.

There is a thing called a ticket exchange ffs or the ticket forum on here if you don't know anyone to give it to. People would have bit your hand of for one in the pubs outside, instead some cockney utd fan goes to his first game...

well said. I had loads of people asking me if i could get them a ticket or not. Its a piss take. They think just cos they aint goin it wont affect them.

Does anyone know whether if arsenal were made aware of people giving their tickets to away support they could or would do anything?

I don't know where AISA etc stand on this issue. Mind you I don't know where they stand on any issue, they are just a figurehead for the clubs benefit.

so you get to see the game in the flesh and get to sit there and kind of celebrate if youre team score?? maybe its the fact im lucky enough to get to see most of the games but if i cant get into the arsenal section id much prefer to watch it at home or in the pub surrounded by like minded fans!
