Yeah. Right.

He didn't know he was about to be tested.

He didn't piss off early on purpose.

He didn't make a phone call saying he had to dash off to do something really important. And couldn't get back to the ground straight away.

Bendtner is 21 years old (I think).

We should make allowances.

He's young. He would have been totally pissed off at losing such an important match. He went out and got totally lagered. I don't blame him. So would I.

It's not as if he was playing the following day.

The trousers thing is embarrasing. But he may have been having a piss, when the bouncers chucked him out. Who knows?

And he's already been on arsenal.com to make a public apology.

Which is more than the Manyoo players did, after the infamous Christmas party. Or Rooney did, after his granny-shagging.

Give the lad a break, for fuck's sake.

If only I'd known.

I'm always in Boujis with Prince Harry and a few other flash Harrys. I earn so much I can't think what else to spend my money on. I could've lent Nickyboy my belt. And my strides. And my Y-fronts.

If only I'd known.

I got home at nearly midnight last night and it cost me more than £100 to watch a complete pile of ***** and to sit behind 3,000 mancs singing "Oh this is so fucking easy".

I'm really pleased that our players set such high standards and that they care so much for our Club. I'm going to write to Messrs Fizsman / Hill-Wood and ask if I can pay more for my ticket next season as poor old Nicklas and his mates obviously don't get paid enough.

Can't people see that they're fucking laughing at us????

Tony Adams, Paul Merson, Perry Groves and others used to get pissed up on a regular basis.

They loved Arsenal. And still do.

Bendtner has not committed a crime against humanity. He just got very pissed. And had a valid reason for doing so.

"Laughing at us"? Yeh you could justifiably accuse Adebayor of that. Not Bendtner.

I totally agree mate but those lads were paid sensibly: ran through brick walls for Arsenal: won trophies for Arsenal and still come back now to talk to fans at dinners and Club functions.

Does anyone think that Bendtner and co will be coming back to fans' dinners in 20 years time??

And when Big Tone and co. were playing it didn't cost me £100 per match to watch him. The current lot put the money above everything else and that is why we're not knocking Man U off their perch.

Anyway - I'm off to Boujis now. Prince Harry is chucking a party for a few close chums and I'm gonna buy him a Martini or two. Or three.

I was gonna go commando tonight but those paparazzi do like to catch filthy rich pissheads like me with our pants down.

Oh what a twat! I mean no Arsenal player has ever got so drunk that he drunk drove and could have killed someone. No, this is the first time a player at Arsenal has ever got drunk, shame on Nic, we have never ever ever ever ever had a drunk player before.

What our Big Dane did was not professional, lord knows why he dropped his trousers and yes we have a game in a few days. He is 21 and this seems to be a first time thing, he did no more then some of us did last night and that was get drunk to dull the hurt somewhat. He apologized, I'm not going to slate him for a minor mistake done after a heavy defeat. If he did this on Thursday or Friday then we have an issue, if he goes and does it regularly, then we have an issue

I love how this was made into two issues. 1) How the club is less disciplined then the others. Like Man U, a club whose best defender missed drug tests and a party get out of hand and left a player facing charges of rape. Or how about Chelsea, Cashley and Terry recently with Terry parking in disabled spaces, Cashley attacking a police officer among the more recent and indeed platable things. Or how about our own managers who allowed some of our players to get into addiction and drink driving. During the season.

2) How this is an example of a player not caring or not hurting. Can you see into Nic's mind? Do you guys have evidence that Nic does this regularly? Or on a night off, after a devastating defeat, might he just not be feeling a little upset? Might it not be that in fact he cared and needed one night off to get drunk?

On the list of horrible things people at Arsenal have ever done, I think getting piss drunk in such circumstances is pretty low on things.

I thought Arsene Wenger has been credited with erasing that kind of behviour, but guess I was wrong...

Tony Adams thing was 20yrs ago. Times have changed, or we are led to believe it, and AW revolutionized game - with bowl of pasta it seems...as I said earier, try to imagine Pires or Henry or Bergkamp in similar situation...you can't!

Players still drink sometimes, most don't get caught. Anyone remember the reprimand Terry, who seen his critics will admit is a hungry player, got when Cashley attacked a police officer? It was not that they were out drinking but that the situation got out of hand. Players are fitter and more aware of their body needs, sometimes youngsters make mistakes, sometimes players like a drink, doing this once or twice in 12 year career isn't going to doom him

Would Berkamp, Henry and Pires be the same if they lived in Denmark, a country with beer then in England, a country with beer at such a young age? Would they have reacted differently at 21 to a 3-1 defeat, 4-1 on aggregate under such circumstances. I don't know, I can't say I followed them too closely when they were at a similar age

Now that's just a sick admission Chippy and would be more appropriate on a gay website/chatline or their equivalent of Pornotube (what is it again, Khalid/Karel/Tomkingsbury/Magic/Boomer?:wink: ) rather than the onlinegooner forum!!
