Scarf Night Tomorrow

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Scarf Night Tomorrow

Post by Rilo II »

Found this hidden away over on the official site.

http://www.arsenal.com/article.asp?this ... ean+nights!

for those of you too lazy to click, it's basically trying to get everyone going tomorrow to bring along a scarf and swing it about etc etc to help create atmosphere. It also says that the bar scarves will be on sale for £2 less than usual so a fiver which isn't so bad. I assume they mean on sale in the Armouries as it's not mentioned where.

Nice to see the club trying to improve the atmosphere, not sure how much difference it will make as it's the first I heard abour it and it was hardly prominent on the website, but it's better than nothing I suppose.

Problem is I think it's going to be too cold to take the scarf off and wave it about the place. It's fucking freezing today.

Arsenal.com is a bit poor - It's not good that there has been so many news items on the home page that it is not shown anymore without going through the archives. It is not even a link on the 'Match menu'.
