Support the team on full throttle and we will do it

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

You change tactics during a game, swap players over (like Gus Hiddink did when he dropped Essien deeper in the semi) I accept you cannot kick every ball and make every tackle in your head but if your team is overun through the midfield or the full backs are causing problems then YES you do coach - tell the wide midfield players to 'tuck in' and get your full backs to show them on the 'inside'. Motivate, change formations during a game. Keep the game tight for a period of time to give the impression of a defence minded system. Many things that Wenger does not do.

Come on guys how many times have we all winced when Arsenal have conceded a corner this season??

I agree that I was very angry but thats 3 semis we have literally frozen mentally and tactically. The board are swapping millions and millions to each other and we are accepting this? £50-60 million is required for transfers only NOT including wage increases etc.
Online Ed a true Wenger fan wrote to judge Wenger in May after not buying a defensive midfielder or centre back - now we need another forward as well

How many times can we sat 'this time next year Rodders'

We are in exactly the same situation as we were at the end of last season.
Most of us knew then what needed to be done. A defensive midfielder to replace Flamini, a quality central defender, sell Adebayor (and Eboue and the other dross) and get a quality striker in.
None of these things were done and it was obvious how the season was going to pan out. All too predictable.
Is Wenger going to make any of these decisions this end of season ( already a year too late!)
If finances are a problem then why didn't we take the money offered for Adebayor? He was shit when we first bought him and he has been shit ever since except for a few months where everything went just right for him.He is still shit now! Unfortunately we won't be offered as much for him as last season. ( I'd be pleased to see him go on a "free""!!!).
It's getting to that annoying time of year again where we are linked with dozens of players and we know that Arsene won't buy anyone.Surely he will this year!!!
