This says it all..........

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Maybe you should all look at the fact that Fabregas etc went out after the Villareal game and got pissed when we had a semi-final on the saturday.

Bendtner over Adebayor every day of the week
Certainly won't disagree with that!

Radford - In my opinion you're either a professional sportsman and treat your body with respect, ie: making the kind of sacrifices that other young lads don't do, in return for riches beyond 99.9% of peoples dreams and adulation that's difficult to comprehend (well...maybe not in Bendtners case)!
The fact that he made an apology so quickly says he knows he fecked up big style. It's not the first time he's been in the papers for being off his tits either! Jesus the guy has the speed of a tortoise on Mogodon anyway so he shouldn't be doing anything that may impact his athletic ability any further!!

Radford is sorry but this is an unbelieveable post. he says for fucksake get a life and stop being such a puritan. so gallas smokes BIG FUCKING DEAL, so bendtner went out on the lash BIG FUCKING DEAL. it fucking gets on his tits when the smallest thing players do is blown way way out of proportion.

further to this Radford would like to state that they are just football players. they are not monks, role models or leaders of the free world. they are just people who play football for a living.
g88ner agrees with Radford.

These things happen; he's a young lad and I'm sure he'll learn from it.

And for N7 to "blame Wenger" is beyond belief... is there anything this French bloke isn't guilty of at the moment??

Bringing Swine flu to Britain, perhaps?
I hope Bendtner does learn from it and changes his behaviour. I have no problem if he does this at the end of the season but to do it during the season regardless of the fact we have nothing to play for. IMO Bendtner has a lot to play for if he puts in big performances in the last three games then he can say he deserves a start next season.

With regards to Radfords comments he is a role model to young children or do you not think children consider footballers as role models and instead consider people like Gordon Brown and David Cameron as their role models?

But why are sportsman meant to be role models? Since when did being good with the ball at your feet turn them into examples of morality? Sure, it would be great if all footballers were non drinking saints but then there would be no boo boy or no Jens!

Why would anyone make a 21 year old striker a role model for outside football based on the fact he can play a bit?

Sky Sports are reporting that "Super" Nic has been disciplined by the club.

Reports that the punishment is to down a pint of snakebite in one and get the next round in are unconfirmed.

Sometimes I feel he cares more about keepng the players happy then the fans.

By Richard Clarke

Arsène Wenger believes Nicklas Bendtner was the victim of a ‘set-up’ this week.

Hours after Arsenal’s Champions League exit, the Danish striker was pictured coming out of a nightclub and being bundled into a car with his trousers falling down in the process.

His manager admits to being unhappy at the incident and has fined the player. But, at his pre-match press conference, Wenger was quick to point that action was taken because Bendtner had gone out – not because of the specific nature of the photographs.

“I was angry,â€
