welcome... a first time debator?...most here are mass-debatorsBendtners Drinking Buddy wrote:Thought id patch my introduction onto the fella's above - good timing!
Like the guy above im a long-time reader, first time debator!!
I consider myself a very positive supporter (even after Tuesday), but I dont mind pointing out my opinions on certain things, whether it be the people that leave ten minutes before half time for a £7 hot-dog and come back ten minutes into the second half, people leaving early for X factor, booing players, or the continuing inconsistency of Abou Diaby!!
Look forward to having a good chat about the Gooners!!!

Norwich brings back the memory of the game against them at Highbury when Norwich started the row and melee following I think an Alan Smith or David O'Leary penalty, Bryan Gunn and their ex spud left back (Bowen?) instigated the row that ensued at the North Bank end. (I think we won the game 4-2)flash gunner wrote:Im a kid deep down i thinkBendtners Drinking Buddy wrote:Flash Gunner, some interesting choices there - Watford and Norwich! Mind if i ask you to expand? Im intruiged!![]()
I went to see us play Norwich in '89 season away and Marwood missed a re-taken penalty which was greeted by us in the away end being coined its something ive never forgotten.
Also we played Watford away season before i think and lost to a Trevor Senior hatrick (anyone remember him?) again the anger at losing but also there was loads of trouble and the police chased us all over the place after the game just never forget also remember they did us out of the FA cup that year too?????...... what a kid!!!![]()
It was because of this and the later so called brawl at Old Trafford that cost us the two point deduction..... You're right Norwich are *word censored*..... (glad they got relegated this season now)
Anyway welcome Andrey's Tongue and Bendtners Drinking Buddy....

So you've changed your mind since this thread then?Bendtners Drinking Buddy wrote:Yes we are the same person haha!!
O well, we may as well kick off things as we are both here! Shall we start with a slightly fun topic that might get some interest? Lets discount Sp*rs as its too obvious and we all hate them - outside those idiots wat team or teams do you dispise the most?
Mine is Chelsea, they are everything that is wrong with football
Without the money they would not have won the league - fact, I accept that they have gelled well as a unit to win trophies but would key players like Essien have moved there in the pre-RA days? Yet they are so arrogant with it. They hate the Mickeys with a passion, why? Because they knocked them out of Europe a few times and Chelsea thought they had a good-given right to win it!!
A club that does not know how to lose, that is even before Wednesday. They go on about "Fair Play" - what about Terry and Drogba diving everywhere? Remember Terry "giving us the ball back" at Stamford Bridge last year leading to the equaliser? What about the same bloke falling to the floor to win a freekick just before Drogbas goal in the Semi a few weeks back? A Club and England Captain that i frankly find embarrasing to be compared with TA, yet everyone in the country worships him.
Even now people like Kenyon and Buck come out with ridiculous statements about how they cannot understand why they are not "well liked" in the football community, I could give you a Fergie-Style Dossier mate!!!
A lot of the country was delighted when Chelsea got knocked out like they did, not least me!

Why would they?flash gunner wrote:Thats strange Boomer my time of going without my dad started in '87 and thats the reason amongst others things (like not accepting at least partial blame for Hillsborough) i hate them as it was the time they were our only rivals and once you build up that hatred i cant lose it

I've always seen our main rivals as United, Liverpool and Spurs. A mention should go to Chelsea and West Ham as well though.
