Yes the gap is opening but it's temporary.
This is the last I'm gonna say on the subject as clearly my point isn't getting through.
One season ago we had a squad capable of putting in a decent challenge. This squad should have been kept together and a sprinkling of talent added to it. The fact is more players left last summer than came in, whilst Adebayor was given incredible hulk type wages. Bleat about finances all you like but the fact we went from a win away from the title to being out by Novemeber has fuck all to do with the finances.
