Have to be honest BB and say that I dont

Yesterday we had a long protracted debate with red carpet and he would be one such optimist - anyway there was a healthy exchange of views, he understood some of our thoughts and likewise we took on board some of his thoughts. At the end we kinda agreed to disagree but I would like to think that there was a level of respect from both sides for conducting a debate the way it is meant to on here. At no stage (that I can remember anyway) did he tell us that we should go support someone else nor at any stage did we say that to him - I mean lets be honest it is as easy for us to tell the optimists that if they are happy being also rans then they should go support a team like villa who will always be closish but never getting the cigar as it is for them to tell us to fcuk off to chavland or wherever

I read that thread yesterday Augie and it was an excellent debate, no question and No.5 even congratulated Red Carpet on his debating skills, but what I'm saying is everybody wants us to win and I don't think even you would doubt that AW has devoted his life to AFC since he came here!

But I get the feeling that those statements that you despise while I freely admit are not conducive to good debate are nevertheless being made because certain members are getting wary not to mention weary of getting into long drawn out debates when basically nothing new is being said!

All this boils down to money at the end of the day we are fighting against two clubs that even tho they are the richest clubs in the world are still running at a loss hence why there is so many frustrated fans on here and that anyone taking the club's side will have their work cut out and have to invest a lot of time fending off people who they see as impatient fans rather than loyal supporters!

So while I'm not sayin it's the right thing to do I would be a liar if I didn't admit that I've been tempted to do it myself a couple of times purely cos the prospect of rehashing a lot of old stuff had me
