Chelsea game

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

chelsea got lucky. We done the most frustrating thing ever.
hmmmm.. Van persie (no speed, cant beat players not that good in the air at all) upfront on his own. Lets swing aload of balls in the box and hope he wins headers against alex and john terry :duh:
lets keep playing it in their corner and hope persie (the only player in the box) beats all the chelsea defenders in the air :banghead:
'Oh no its not working, shall we try something new?'
'Nah, keep trying, it will work'
'Im infront of goal, I may aswell shoot'
'NO!!, TO THE WINGS' :banghead:

If we had arshavin it would have been a whole different story
:(

Van persie kept going out wide hence when we got the ball wide no player was in the box so alex and terry had the easy task of heading the ball out.

We got in behind Chelsea quite a few times today but just never had that cutting edge which Chelsea had and that is the difference.

I want to say so much but am way too angry. I also realise that most of what I would write is stuff that I and others on the forum have been saying for months, if not quite years. Suffice it to say that if I had to sum up my feelings in one word, it would have to be 'humiliated'.

Ahh shit!! I started writing loads more stuff about why this defeat has been more painful than Tuesday nights's against the Mancs, but have just deleted it all because otherwise I'll be on here all night and I just ain't got the heart right now.

Arsene you owe about 100 quid in beer tokens.

Dear Lord, I have just watched the highlights on my lunch break after seeing nothing of the game until today.

I cannot believe how many decent chances went begging. I thought we just got a spanking.
