wow .. oh, what a nite ...
all fab, except for senderos .. but I reckon he needs the games he gets, becuase he is basically down on confidence, and the more opportunities he gets the more confident he will become .. as long as he avoids howlers .. like he nearly had today ... so, I am still Ok with him playing today instead of gilberto ..

It's many of us fans that are low on confidence with the poor lad due to his apparent lack of technical ability and pace. I am sure that he has great determination and pride which at most other Premier league clubs would warrant a first team place week in week out. Unfortunately for him but fortunate for us, we are not like most other Premier League clubs, we are The Arsenal and it is for this reason, in my opinion that when he plays, he stands out as the weakest link in our team.burns718 wrote:the poor lads just low on confidence

HLEB RETURNED TO HIS 'FORM' OF LAST SEASON AND WAS BELOW AVERAGE UNTIL HE SET UP THE THIRD GOAL. THE NUMBER OF TIMES HE GAVE THE BALL AWAY HAD ME TEARING MY HAIR OUT!!
MUCH AS I WANT THEM TO SUCCEED, POOR PHIL WAS DODGY - AGAIN; AND DIABY WAS ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING AFTER HE CAME ON!! ARSENE REALLY ISN'T DOING THE LAD ANY FAVOURS PLAYING HIM WIDE LEFT.
BY THE WAY, A MATE OF MINE WHO WAS AT THE PRESS CONFERENCE AFTERWARDS TOLD ME TOMAS ROSICKY HAS DAMAGED A HAMSTRING AND WILL BE OUT FOR A MINIMUM OF 3 WEEKS. I LOVE TOMMY BUT HE DOES HAVE A PROBLEM STAYING FIT, DOESN'T HE?

agree, hleb was as IHH said back 2 last years form,, gael was caught a few times; and daby was shit when he came on but then hes not a bloody winger and thats where arsene put him,, senderos done ok but he still hasnt got a football brain and got away wit things a couple of timesRilo II wrote:Senderos wasn't half as bad as Hleb, Clichy or Diaby. Be fair about things.

I would hardly say all the team played brilliantly apart from Senderos, Almunia did make the save he needed to but spent the rest of the day playing "oh look, easy 40 yard ball for me to catch, I'll just drop it for no reason." while Toure was far from his best for me to put it nicely, didn't think Clichy played badly last night, still not quite at his best but he did well enough. Sevilla were surprisingly toothless but nice to get a 3-0 win and send a message to everyone, players may have been subdued but they did enough as a team to warrant the win.
