Rubbish Support

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

you see the thing is, you can't compare us to the likes of Stoke etc who back their team no matter what (let's get it straight, all the 'big' teams fans boo etc)..................because Stoke fans pay an average of £37 for an adult ticket whilst Arsenal fans pay an average of just over £60 per adult ticket. THIS is why fans are entitled to do what they want. If you rip fans off for the highest ticket prices you need to be serving up some pretty good football.
You'd hardly go to a Gordon Ramsay restaurant and happily pay £50 for fish and chips would you!

Let me sum this all up. Being nearly 40, we used to go football for a laugh and to meet our mates. It was all about the crack back then. Now I go down The Arsenal to meet my brother for some home games and we put up with being shitted on by a club that wants to rip off its fans in any which way.

I sit with a bunch of JLC's and many of the fellas we knew no longer go. The answer is simple. We choose to support arsenal at away games because the crowds at those games reflect our own passion and not the people that never sing that look round at us when we do.

We now live in a soulless bowl that is the emirates and that won't change for a while.

Club dont care if we leave early or not....
