Jesus, just woken to this news, in fact it was the other way round, it was hearing this news on my telly which woke me up, can't help thinkin that we should have seen it comin cos of their league form, his unbelieveable omlette dig at RA not givin him enough money
to shop at Waitrose
and not only does everyone know that RA wants the CL - BADLY
but he also thinks Chelsea will only achieve the popularity he craves if they start playin attractive football, so to play out a dismal draw against the mighty Rosenborg in front of only 24 odd thousand fans must've been the last straw

Someone's read my article in the most recent Gooner26may1989 wrote:Sky are saying the reason for the sacking is his summer recruitment and sales. Can't say the players brought in (Alex, Sidwell, Pizarro, Malouda) were too bad, so perhaps it's the sales.
Much as I hope Diarra works out for us, I don't think that was a problem but I do think getting rid of Glen Johnson and the keeper who went to Hibs could be the ones referred to - because both sales undermined the Champs' League squad. Both players qualified as club trained and could have freed up spots for Michael Ballack and Scott Sinclair. It would have meant they would have had a full 25 man squad (plus some rookies for back up) rather than the 23 they were limited to.
Perhaps Abramovich was more pissed off than anyone knew about the fuck up in working out which players qualified and which didn't.
For more, here's my boring post from a while ago:
You might know about this already, but it's always good to laugh at those tossers down at The Bridge.
The real reason Chelsea didn't include Ballack in their Champs' League squad is because they didn't read the UEFA rule book properly. To explain, I have to get into the rules, which is a bit boring. But it's worth it, to understand how those smug tits managed to lumber Chelsea with a smaller squad than everyone else and had to omit Ballack and Scott Sinclair. To make matters better, the situation will be even worse for Chelsea next year (if they qualify).
The rules:
1. Clubs can submit a squad of 25 A List players plus as many B List players as they want. B List players are 21 or under and have been at the club for at least 2 years. Cesc is one of our B List players.
2. 6 of the 25 A List spots are reserved for locally trained players (at least 3 for those trained by the club).
Chelsea only have one player who counts as club trained (Terry), so they could only name 23 players (plus 2 inexperienced reserves as B List players). We on the other hand have at least 7 (and possibly up to 11) senior/senior-ish players who qualify, and some of them (like Cesc) qualify as B List too. So, we got to put in our entire senior squad of 25 plus another 3 B List players (i.e. in addition to Cesc). AND, if we sign someone in January, we still have a spare A List place, so can put that player in straight away, whereas Chelsea would have to displace one of the senior players to accommodate a signing.
No other club in the Champs' League managed to screw up like Chelsea, everyone else got their entire senior squad in.
The situation gets worse for Chelsea next year, because the number of places reserved for locally trained players increases from 6 to 8.
Ha ha ha ha! Twats! Another reason to congratulate Arsene - top man!

Guess who the bbc report is going to take over?NOT Avram Grant as the new manager.

Jose should have walked when the board first started interfering with his work, he could be petty (no youth players, insulting Roman's £30 million striker at every opportunity), say things he shouldn't and his team were boring. Yet he knew what he was doing most of the time, he has an excellent record and I'm sure will do well wherever he goes now.
Chelsea on the other hand seem set to appoint a man who specialises in smallish teams and boring draws if his Israel reign is anything to go by.

But while we laugh here's a little warning for us.
Usmanov is Abramovich's friend, maybe as he is about to get engrossed in a willy waving contest with his buddy, might he one day try to show Arsenal's most successful manager ever who pays the bills and who wears the trousers?
Once again thank you David Dein.

I have to say that I actually feel a bit sorry for Mourinho.
I know he is a big mouthed arrogant tosser but nevertheless he was not allowed to do his job the way he wanted to. The manager should always have total say over team selection etc. and that clearly wasn't the case at Chavski. This is one of my fears about the Russian and Dein. Will they allow Arsene total say if they get in. Dein has already said he wants to see the worlds biggest stars coming to Arsenal. Thats not Arsene's way of doing things and I don't think that the interference would be welcomed.
In the extremely remote chance that Mr Dein reads this, I would say "Take note of what has happened to Chelski and consider the potential impact of your foolish liason".
As well as that I think it is interesting to note that Lumplard refused to sign a new contract despite it being 'the best contract in the clubs history'. I think that shows that this is not an overnite decision. This has been on the cards since the signing of Shevchenko and Ballack.
Mourinho will not be out of work for long. There is a very real chance that he could end up as a spud. Jol's position will reportedly be reviewed during the next international break in October. How irritating would he be then!!!!!!!

Thats typical small club syndrome by Chelski, a new manager comes in wins/buys two league tittles two fa cups and a two league cups and they think they have become a big club then all of a sudden struggle at start of the new season so what do they do? They sack thier most successfull manager in thier history.
I find this story very funny because it is clear Roman Abramovich whats Chelski to be a club who plays good football and is run in a good business manner (you could say like Arsenal), but hasn't Roman Abromovich learnt that it dosn't happen over night, can't he see when he looks over at Arsenal in North London (Wishing Chelski was like them) that the board must trust the manager and let him decide on the football side of things?
I suppose though Russians find it hard to trust people, I wonder why that is?
You'll never be the Arsenal, You'll never be the Arsenal.

I woke up to the news this morning and not by text he he
There is no way Mourinho will have resigned but I guess they came to some sort of agreement to give the statement that it is mutual. So glad my dad didn't follow Chelsea but maybe I won't have followed them anyway!!
Love the resurrection of the Stamford Bridge is falling down song we'll have to air that one on Saturday.
