Where will everyone be drinking in Cardiff?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Post by Gooner_mojo »

Been to Cardiff 3 times before, but never been drinking there, however I will be this time!

So where will all Gooners be drinking on Sunday? Where are the best places to go?

Yes it is. Cardiff Castle is directly behind us according to the back of the ticket.

Come on you Reds !

If you walk past the castle towards the ground with the castle entrance on your right at the end of the row of shops/pubs is a pub with garden beside it. the garden is much lower and you have to wals own some stairs to get to it. After that there is a big hotel..it may be a Thistle but I'm not sure.

Its the nuts in there and there is usually a que to get in because it is so good. I've been in there all the finals we were down that end. They have a bbq in the summer. The atmosphere is great with proper gooners in there! Afterwards, if we win, is usually buzzing.

Anyone else know it?

bars in Mill Lane are pretty good, though sitting outside depends on the weather - and rain predicted so not good. Lots of good bars near ground so not really a problem
