United away in the Premier League

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

oops, it's an early kick off...well I don't know Manchester that well
Just waiting on a mate to call me back.... he knows a pub about 20 minutes from the ground where you can also park.... but it maybe stretching it for a beer before the game, after though a different story... I'll post the name of the pub when I get it...
Cheers for that :barscarf:
Ok. The name of the road is the Princess Parkway.... still awaiting confirmation of the pub name though.... (he said it was called the Princess but I can't find it) will have to post it tomorrow when he gets back to me, as going to see The Specials and I'm off on the lash now....
Ok the name of the pub is The Princess on the Princess Parkway... so that's where I'm gonna be before and after this Saturday's game....

Let's just hope we can keep the score respectable, and i'd never thought i'd say that in my lifetime of supporting Arsenal and mean it.

United will be complacent. We'll win 2-0.... Ade to get one, Rosicky (making a surprise return), the other.

If Lucas "I like to be everywhere on a football pitch except on my fucking line" Fabianski plays, they may aswell present United with the trophy pre kick off.

I saw a one handed goalie playing in a parolympic match a few years back and he was like Gordon Banks compared to Flappy.

By far the worst keeper I have EVER seen.

I have to say I admire anybody who goes to ot on saturday, thats what i call a genuine gooner. Every player in the squad should be made travel to the game to witness the commitment of true gooners.

I shall be going. TBH I don't care if we lose as long as the players put in some effort like the fans will.

How are people getting from picadilly to the ground Train or Tram?

I'm going, can't believe it went to Red's to be honest so jumped on it.

From Picadilly I'm getting a train to Old Trafford.

I'll be there on saturday, just travelling to have a good time, lets hope the boys play without pressure and play the right way, its definitely all about next season now, the mancs are going to want to party and could clinch the title, lets give them a good singing match aswell as on the pitch!! :P

Five of us going to Piccadilly Stn. There's a Wetherspoons close by.
We were in salford quays pub last CL game and was good as few of us started a proper gooner sing song.

mate is doing research about suitable pubs for those getting train to Piccadilly

Respect to all the Arsenal fans going up there. I have done my fair share of away trips this season and this isn't going to be one of them, couldn't face seeing those Mancs lift another trophy and their glory hunting fans celebrating and gloating on the motorway back to London...would be nice to fuck it up but cannot see it

We'll lose 4-0 I fear.

Seconded.

Fair play to everyone going up there. You're fucking mad, but you're real supporters

I think this will be embarrassing, potentially worse than the last two games :(

Yeah but imagine if it went the other way, how much fun would it be to piss on their parade???

Actually, imagine if Wigan get a point tonight, a win on Sat could effectivly blow the race open again as imagine Hull would give everything in that last game V United.
