Sammy's Shorts Quiz Game~2

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Sammy's Shorts Quiz Game~2

Post by SammyDroppedHisShorts »

Well Frank enjoyed himself last week and Percy was open to google ;)

This week I shall set you up five transfers that have happened in the past. A little piece for you to read, then maketh your mindeth up as to who they maybe.

**Some are easy, some are not, just tell me the player and the clubs involved.

1. The Barcodes were challenging for honours, this player was scoring goals for fun and MUSA looked like they had decent title challengers. Then poof! he was sold, and KK had to deal with unhappy supporters and the wheels kinda came off for the Barcodes.

Player and two clubs please?

2. There were gasps from the journalists when this player was unveiled in a pub in on the south coast. The former European Player of the Year, on top of his game, had come back to England and decided to join one hell of an average south coast side. What a signing!

Player and two clubs please?

3. Amazing really. The smoggies were spending big and attracting names such as the Italian grey haired scorer and a Brazilian titch. They were still relegated at the end of the season.

Both players and club they played for please?

4. Was at one club in the morning, heard another club had a new manager, decided club he was at in morning was not good enough for him. He asked owner of said club for taxi fare and caught said taxi to the other club and duely singned for them. (Legend says)

Which player, and the two clubs please?

5. This player joined Fulham for 30 tracksuits in 1999.

Who, and where is he now?

Now some other footy questions

6. Arsenal have lost six times in all matches at the Emirates, name the six?

7. Arsenal hold the record for most consecutive scoring away matches, but how many games?

8. Was Ronaldo the first opposing player to score in both ends of the Emirates?

9. Who was the first opposing player to score at the Emirates for two different teams?

10. Who currently holds the Arsenal record for scoring against the N17 Scum more than any other Gooner in history?

Enjoy

Number 4 sounds like the Manu Petit situation. Allegedly at Spurs for talks, asks for the taxi fare and signed for us. Legend!

Hamburg have not beaten us at the Grove. Juventus beat us 1-0 in the Emirates cup last year.

If you are referring to Hamburg in the Emirates cup, we didn't even play them. And Man Utd was our first Euro defeat there.
