Disappearing Postings

Has anyone else experienced their postings disappearing? All of my postings today have mysteriously vanished.

yeah just posted on rebels MY FAVORITE GAME post and it`s disappeared this is wierd

Yes I posted on that one aswell and it has completely gone including Rebels initial post.

Apologies for the disappearance of any postings, this is to do with the recent server upgrade.

We have switched to a new server with a new IP address. It takes up to 36 hours for the change to propagate the entire Web. Until then some people will be viewing the old site and some will be viewing the new. If your post has gone missing then when you posted your ISP was sending you to the old site as their DNS had not yet been updated. However you are now seeing the current and new version of the site if you're reading this.

Apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.

It would involve a lot of work porting the lost postings over to the new server, it is not impossible to do but the very fast nature of the forum would mean that by the time it would be completed most postings would be out of date.

My postings from last night (well, 2 in the morning actually) have all gone. They were my best so far.... Not difficult, I know.

No you don't need to re register, a few posts disappeared yesterday whilst the servers were being switched. New server is now much faster other than that all as before.
