Arsenal don’t need to buy another player for 10 years (26/9)

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

usual thread starter… one thing that struck me about last night is that, given how the style of play was so close to that of the first choice eleven, any of these players can just be slotted in when injuries and suspensions start to take a greater toll without really weakening the team. No worries about the grade of eggs in North London, eh?

Totally agree! And a word for Song, the much maligned Song - what a stormer at centre back! And his distribution was better than, say Senderos', just because he has a midfielder's eye.

Diarra in midfield looked like a chunky Vieira - bossing it and passing well - Fabianski in goal - thought his decision making was good and he looked very confident. All in all, much to be happy about - or is it that the standard of the premier league is really poor? Heady times to be a Gooner. :D
