Wenger 'I feel like a killer'

Wenger 'I feel like a killer'

Post by redandwhite »

quoted in today's daily mail. Arshavin - I love Arsenal (but Barca more). Arsenal need to buy experienced players in the summer and then we'll have a good team.

Arshavin's comments say it all and its what the fans have been calling for so why is AW not listening? However I also agree with AW comments he is not about to bankrupt us by buying expensive players, for such a move would open the door to the americans bailing out (so sound business stragedy there). Beside as we have seen at Chelsea, money does not buy titles - MU have expensive players but better manager tactics to get the most of them.

I think some credit must be given to certain players who got us to 2 semi's (our 4th place is courtsey of AV season going wrong). So NO booing the team at the last game please, last we need is for our young players to reconsider their future at Arsenal - AW is already reconsidering according to the mail today.

I say lets give him and the players another season to prove themselves afterall the 'judge us in 1-2 years' comes in the forthcoming season. If after that we are still titleless then maybe its time fresh mangerial blood to come in but be prepared for a mass exodus of players should AW leave.

One final thing - lets hope we spoil MU party today and get back some pride and help put this dreadful season behind us :D

After where Arsene has taken us, give him 1-2 years then call for his head. He deserves that from us. If we get rid of him, be prepared for an era of journeymen managers.

And on what evidence do you base that comment ? With the exception of Rioch, who allegedly made the most ridiculous demands of any Arsenal manager, the club has always stood by managers for the long term. There will be life after AW you know ?

People didn't think there would be life after GG or Bertie Mee (and I dare say decades ago Herbert Chapman), but the club has carried on and reinvented itself time and time again

Guilty as charged-For killing our season by not buying a CH and a DM in last summers transfer window
