As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
This may have been done to death so apoligies if it has, but if you could get 3 new players for The Arsenal who would it be? And be reasonable, I mean sure Messi, Ronaldo and Gerrad would be good but aint gonna happen eh!
I'd go for
Danielle De Rossi - experienced midfielder with 40 caps and only 26.
Joleyn Lescott - Best centre half outside big 4, solid English no nonsense type
Guillaume Hoarau- Tall young PSG striker has had a great season and in french squad
Has been done to death before but out of politeness I will respond
Buffon - had a serious flare up with the coaching staff at juve last week so you would never know
lescott - big, strong, pacy and knows the prem league
one of yaya/christian poulsen/keita or lorik cana who personally I know fcuk all about but from other members on here that are more in tune with him say that he has exactly the traits we require
augie wrote:Dont think huntelaar has the pace required both for our game and this league in general Def appears that he is on his way out of madrid though
To be honest only came up with huntelaar because cant think of another striker who would come in our price range as it seems to me we have fuck all money. Was killing 2 birds with 1 stone in getting rid of adebayor and bringing in a cheap striker.
M Schwarzer GK - Better than any keeper we have.
Hangeland Def - Better than any defender we have.
K Nolan DM - Ball winner/spoiler who can go forward when needed.
LeftfootlegendGooner wrote:please not flamini again, overrated by an absolute country mile.
Lets buy him for 15 mil, and play him for one out of 4 seasons and then lose him for free.
Lets just swap our squad for manures with about 200 million on top, simples
If Flamini is over rated what does that say about the rest of our players, he was our most influential player last season and to say we have missed him this season is a massive under statement.
