How to get tickets for the Emirates for a overseas gooner ?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

How to get tickets for the Emirates for a overseas gooner ?

Post by WengerKnows »

Hi gooners , hopeing you guys can give me some info . i live overseas and have been a big Arsenal fan for over 10 years now . I have some vacation time due and was planning on visiting London during a time when Arsenal have atleast 1 home prem game and possibly a champions leauge game also at the Emirates .

In the past i have only been to one game at Highbury and it was a champions leauge game too which a friend gave me a couple of tickets for me and my gf .

Is there any ticket selling company you can recommend since i dont want to take a chance on scalpers outside the stadium . money is not an issue since this is a very rare oppurtunity for me so i dont mind paying extra for a ticket . any help will be appreciated .

The best piece of advice I can give you is to sign up as a Red Member. Failing that, you can post an ad on here and maybe someone will be able to help you out. I've bought a ticket off of someone off this site before. Top, top bloke!

Why don't you look on the Clubs official website and see if there is an Arsenal Supporters club in your country of residence. If there is, they may be able to help you out.

Yeah, fanclubs who are recognised by AFC get an option of allocation of tickets, ( I think ).

Don't go to a London based ticket agency though.

Last time I was over for a visit to see my parole officer, the price they wanted for a ticket to see Pompey was 350 quid. They wanted a monkey (500 POUNDS!!!!!) for a ticket to the Spuds game.

:x
