Sounds like a rouse by Tevez's "owner", an obvious bargaining technique to play one club off against the other, wonder if he'd consider our 13 million?

I could see them payin him a hundred odd grand a week if they got him on a free but the Scousers suddenly havin the money to pay him 160k

plus a 26M transfer fee

surely has to be the most ridiculous transfer rumour in years

If they pay him Â£160k a week Torres & Gerrard will demand the same & thatâ€™ll be basically all their money gone. Plus bringing in Tevez would mean disrupting or breaking up the Torres/Gerrard partnership cos even if he played Gerrard behind the 2 of them it would still change the dynamic & push Gerrard into a different role.

But then Benitez is a twat so I wouldnâ€™t put it past him to do it just to piss off Fergusc*nt. Fuck em both. C*nts.

This is another story some lazy arse journalist has made up, i'm sure they just think of a number that sounds about right and then double it Â£50m

saying that Tevez is the perfect player for the way Rafa plays, if you look at what he done with Kuyt, he turned a goalscoring centre forward into a wide attacking midfielder that never stops running, he likes his supporting attackers to graft and theres no doubt Tevez will give him that and some quality, i just hope if they get him they don't get anyone else of quality because they are not far away from a PL winning side even now.
