That kind of thing?

Steve Im with you. He is such a valuable asset, I think we can get him back to what he was last season. Eduardo may not come back to his best, van persie will probably pick up injuries through the season leaving vela and bendtner as our only 2 strickers (and AA23 if we play him there), realistically that will probably mean another season without a title.HelloImSteve wrote:Okay, I understand the fustration that some arsenal fans may be feeling after adebayors interview with football focus, however, I generally believe that adebayor is irreplacable for a number of reasons: our new kind of wing play involving full backs heavily allows crosses, and not many strikers who would like to leave their clubs are good in the air, or as quick or as stong as adebayor, some of you may say huntelaar, but no, he is slow, and will slow down our play, as well as not being as strong as adebayor. If adebayor goes, then arsenal are messed, there will be no-one we could buy to bring what adebayor bought and more. Last season, all the fans were behind adebayor, and in return he got us 30+ goals, eventhough he held the club ransome, he is still an arsenal player, and we need to respect that, ronaldo held united at ransome, but look how they moved on, ronaldo goes on to score 18 + goals and hes been playing half a season. What im basically trying to say is, we need to sing songs for adebayor and not boo, because im not sure how many us know how it is like to score a goal for the team you love but still hear 20,000 odd people that support the team you love but still boo you, it can demotivate any person in the world, not just a footballer. Additionally, he did complain about having to play against top defenders more than a few times, and to be honest, playing against the best centre halves in the world more than 2 times can be excesively difficult, as i do not know many strikers who can beat vidic, ferdinand, john terry, carvalho, apart from them making mistakes and being punished notably by torres, so the midfield needs to be strengthened and 4-4-2 needs to be played against all teams. People can say that ohh we can bring in villa or tevez, but no, villa is clinical but our full backs will be useless and villa isnt strong or good in the air, and tevez is not prolific enough to score goals. We actually need adebayor!

Thats one thing i think a lot of people are missing. last season we had a much better midfield that fed him a lot more balls than he is getting now. Which really should be taken into account, however no-one hates our midfield as much as they hate greedybarndoor. It says a lot about a player when there is more than his ability or lack of it on the pitch to why he is hated so much. Attitude makes a massive difference.wave of mutilation wrote:I've never booed adebayor
I've always hated him due to him being a shit player though, even when he was made to look good (in the eyes of the blind) when our midfield was immense last season
