So we have the best youth players..

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

So we have the best youth players..

Is this at the expense of our wage bill?

Does the fact we play so much inexperience in the first team also help to attract the best youth players?

I would say yes because look at Ramsey he had the choice between us man u and Everton he picked us because he believed he would play more for us rather than man u.

Yup.

Young players have a good chance of first team experience at Arsenal.

Cesc is a good example of this.

It does not mean that we can do without experienced players.

I also agree, and could well be an aim of the overall plan, is to become regarded the world over as THE place to learn your trade as even tho Barca et al have great acadamies a player like for example Cesc would be extremely effective should he ever decide to go back to La Liga as he is a much more rounded player havin earned his spurs (sorry Cesc) over here!

As everyone knows we play a much more physical game over here and if you can play here you can play anywhere and have the prowess to dominate when you move to the less physically demanding league in the latter part of your career 8)
