The London Paper tonight

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

The London Paper tonight

Post by gus ceasar is a legend »

For those of you outside London who wouldn't know it there is a freebie paper each night called the The London Paper. Everyday in its sports section it asks a question and gives the replies the next day. Usually its questions are of the ilk "Do Arsenal play the most attractive football ever?"etc. Here are some of the answers to yesterdays question which was "Do Spurs really serve the worst food to football fans in London?".

"I had a meat and potato pie at Spurs, it was disgusting - the pastry was like concrete and the filling resembled cat sick. The game wasn't much better!"

Barry, Tottenham

"As a life-time admirer of football I've found Spurs hard to stomach."

Ian, Southend

"I'm a loyal Spurs fan and I'd say forget the food, if we could just once beat Arsenal it would be like eating caviar and smoked salmon!"

Lika, Sydenham

The top two are good but the third one is fucking priceless, sad muppets!

How I have enjoyed reading this and sharing it with you on the way home from work on a Friday!

What a great start to the weekend!

Tell you what as far as food and Arsenal is concerned:

The Arsenal cafe in Blackstock Road - Mixed Grill: Chips, Pork Chops, Mushrooms, Sausage, Bacon, Tomatoes, Egg, Liver. Price: £5.50

Compared with.....

At the stadium itself - A steak and kidney pie: £4.50

A slice of Pizza and a coke: £9.00.
