Miss Chevious.

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Miss Chevious.

Post by littlefire »

Hello Everyone,
I'm new on here but am a lifelong fan and am seeking some reassurance for next season. After waiting for many many years, me and my buddies have finally been offered season tickets. As the lead client I had to endure the endless Elvis wait and then, after 30 mins of pleading and permutations, the dreaded final offer "Upper Tier behind goal Blue Quad (Row 16!!!)". For a price none of us can afford. We...a-cc-ept.
Gulp.
The thing is that me and my pals are a bit old school and get very animated during games; jumping up and down, singing throughout and furiously rounding on those that come late and leave early or in any other way disrespect the team. (like the "shoot" squealers)
Are we gonna be okay up there or what?
:o

i'm in there, bit behind you. you will hear me. I am the one that sings good old arsenal while everyone sings twoy or i shout and ask why they are singing it cos its shit. I consider myself very lucky to sit there, we are all quite animated  near me (or did I make it that way  ). I had the chance to move last season and thought long and hard about it as I am really a lower tier sort of girl, but I can safely say I am so pleased I didnt. Mates of mine sit dotted around lower tier and its really quiet where they are.

Dont believe the hype about upper tier being quiet.

That's great news ds - really cheered me up.
My best experiences in the new place have been directly below (Block 10 Row 20) where you gladly sacrifice a bit of view for that particular section's passion and (relative) closeness to the players.
If you hear ye ancient screams of "man on!", "give it!" "chase himmmmmmmmm!" etc from a bunch of jack in the box, heart attack cases that's us

Just out of interest littlefire, where were you on the waiting list last season? Fascinated to know how far the club may have to delve into the comfort zone that is the waiting list!!

Around the six hundred mark. Even though it didn't make any of us more ready for it we were pretty sure the sword of damacles call would come this time. :x
Let me think; maybe five years ago we were eleven thousand and something.
