Bendtner: I will be better than Ibrahimovic
[quote]Bendtner: I will be better than Ibra

Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner believes he will be better than Sweden star Zlatan Ibrahimovic within three years.
The 21-year-old Denmark international is still yet to establish himself as a regular starter at Arsenal, but he is convinced that he will have a breakthrough year next season.
And, ahead of his country’s World Cup qualifier against Sweden on Saturday, he has revealed that he plans to outshine the Inter striker in the coming years.

I think he already is better that Ibrahimovic, who every time i see play is complete garbage anyway!
I really beleive in Bendtner and think he will continue to develop into a top forward for us, 15 goals was very good last season for someone who is our supposed 4th choice forward, 5th some would say
Hope he gets even more chances to prove himself next year and i agree that he will score even more
Love how confident in himself he is too, hope he proves an awful lot of people wrong!

Whether he develops in to one of the best- & I am not going to pre- judge on that- I hope so, but he deserves every chance imo.

first of all you obviously didn't read what he was saying because he didn't say he was better now. I'd also argue that Inter aren't a better team than us even now, but that's not the point.donaldo wrote:Ibrahimovic is first choice for the best team in Italy Bendtner is 4th choice for the 4th best team in England that just about says it all. This guy has done nothing yet but is always shouting his mouth off.Shut the fuck up and do your talking on the pitch. And come back when you have won something![]()
Secondly, Denmark are playing Sweden this week and he was obviously asked about Ibrahimowank.
And finally, he's showing ambition and confidence, and surely that's something you want from a young striker.
Unless of course you're just moaning for the sake of it and because your opinion about him has been made up a long time ago.

I'm not saying thay can't but the two don't complement each other.hadareud wrote:I think RVP and him are a good partnership, actually. Van Persie set up quite a few of his goals this season.
He probably does even better with Vela and Eduardo, but there's no reason why he and VP shouldn't play together.
It's like putting Hartson with Bergkamp!

If Adebayor goes I think we'll mainly see either Van Persie partnered with Eduardo, Arshavin or Vela or Bendtner partnered with one of the them. That's probably the combinations that compliment each other best.

That's what I'd like, whether it happens is another story.hadareud wrote:Boomer wrote: I'm not saying thay can't but the two don't complement each other.

Injuries and effort aside Ade scored shit loads last year but this year one of his downfalls was RVP being fit!
Combinations
RVP - Ashavin, Vela or Eddie
Bendtner - Ashavin, Vela or Eddie
Ashavin - anyone!
Vela - anyone! (not Theo)
Eddie - anyone!
I've not included either Theo or Ade.

Funny how I used to compare him to Ibrah when he was in the reserves because his finishing was ace but that seemed to change when he made the first team. oh well good luck to him, he has the ability and confidence he just needs to apply himself more and sleep with Eduardo's boots
Btw if Ibrah were to come to Arsenal believe me he is amazing and MILES!! better than Ade.

I seriously think he's just got the wrong partner. Looks how 'good' he was against W.Brom away.GunnerDude wrote:Funny how I used to compare him to Ibrah when he was in the reserves because his finishing was ace but that seemed to change when he made the first team. oh well good luck to him, he has the ability and confidence he just needs to apply himself more and sleep with Eduardo's boots![]()

Okay, I know it's poor opposition but he played with AA23!! Plus one of his goals he took on his own.

In the end its his finishing that lets him down and his first touch on some occassions, oh and his one touch passing which every AFC player should have in their locker but it seems thats where Bendtner left it
I still believe in him because his has the physical attributes to be an all-round striker.
