As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
In the USA everything is beer because it would be way to difficult for a yank to have to use more than one description. Over here we have lager (what you call beer) which should always be sold chilled. We also have bitter, light ale, brown ale, mild and stout to name but a few. Real ales should always be served at room temperature but some bitters are served chilled.

Seconded.
I beg to differ- beer drinking is a VERY serious business . I am in the minority so far as I prefer room temperature- but I drink real ales & bitter & these are supposed to be enjoyed @ room temperature. I guess most probably drink student beer- sorry, I mean lager- that is better cold as it has got no proper taste!
