England are usually quite poor in ODI tournaments, but this is a new low. I'm absolutely stunned. We were let down by a weak middle order and some awful fielding whilst Holland were fearless and worthy winners. Roll on Pakistan this Sunday- lets grab a tiny handful of pride back before preparing for the Ashes, which if I'm honest, I'm not at all looking forward to.

England's last 9 overs were a joke only 60 runs. Now we have to beat a professional cricket team in pakistan (who Ireland beat a few years ago). Stuart Broad is a very good player and has been consistant over the last year.

Take nothng away from the Dutch but the fielding conditions were very difficult for England. It rained for most of the time they were in the field and their handling was affected badly.

Still, great game to watch.
was it not the same pitch for both teams

ahh the poor boys got a bit wet and there handling was affected

Great win for the stoners!! I love cricket (except boring English county cricket). Best cricket ever was the Kerry Packer series in the 70's. I went to a good few games as a kid in Aus and it was brilliant stuff.

Ah, Jeff Thomson, the Chappells, Rod Marsh, Dennis Lillee... legends. Particularly Thommo - my childhood cricketing hero. 8)

Actually no! the pitch was relatively dry during the first innings so there was a difference.
When push comes to shove the Dutch deserved their victory so no complaints from me. Broad cost us in the last over. Three missed run-outs and a dropped catch (although to be fair a very tough chance). Just as well it's nt a straight knockout, that would have been a real disaster. this is just a blip.
