My poor mum...
My poor mum...
My mum was due to be admitted today to the North Middlesex Hospital today....but they didn't have any beds - typical. This means she is going in tomorrow now! Didn't have the heart to say that this clashes with our game in CL match live on ITV4.....!
My concern, as anyone who has been there can testify, is that this is dangerously close to spudsville! I just hope their barrier nursing is up to scratch and she doesn't pick up any serious virus from Sh*te Hart Lane..... At least she won't be there tonight, when they are at home to Villa!
I'll make sure the family wear red & white when visiting!!

CAN I JUST ADD MY GOOD WISHES TO THOSE FOR MK's MUM AND TONY'S DAD.
I ALMOST LOST MY FATHER IN JULY WHEN HE WENT INTO HOSPITAL WITH AN INFECTION - WHICH HE HAS HAD BEFORE - AND BY THE END OF THE EVENING WAS BEING PHONED BY THE HOSPITAL AND TOLD TO COME AND SAY MY LAST GOODBYES AS HE WASN'T EXPECTED TO MAKE IT THROUGH THE NIGHT!
I'M TELLING YOU, AS EMOTIONALLY STRONG AND PREPARED AS I THOUGHT I WAS, THE REALITY OF THE SITUATION AND THE PROSPECT OF LOSING HIM HAD ME IN BITS.
THANKFULLY HE SLOWLY MADE AN IMPROVEMENT AND AFTER A FORTNIGHT WAS RECOVERED AND ALLOWED HOME AGAIN - ALTHOUGH AT 78 YEARS OF AGE HE'S NOT IN THE BEST OF HEALTH AT THE BEST OF TIMES.
ANYWAYS, ALL THE BEST TO YOUR PARENTS.

All the best to your mum. My mum had her cancer treatment there and, crappy a place as it is, they were great. And she recovered.
Re the location, you're right to be concerned. But then my mum works in Tottenham, and beyond having a bizarre crush on Pat Jennings, she has no interest in football, so she wasn't bothered.
