Bye Bye Ronaldo

Post by afcnick »

The Mancs have accepted a bid for Ronaldo. Would say I will miss him but that would be a lie. At least he will now be allowed to get out of Clichy's pocket.

He Is such a prick.

Glad he has gone.

Actually, they've not accepted a bid at all. There has been no bid.

What they've done is set his sale value at £80 million and have given their permission for him and madrid to start talking.

If they've set it at £80m then you're probably looking at a final deal somewhere between £70m and £75m. Still a very big price for any player but you can't blame the Mancs for taking it. They could buy 3 or 4 world class players for that.

Reds accept £80m Ronaldo bid
"Manchester United have received a world-record, unconditional offer of £80million for Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid.

At Cristiano's request - who has again expressed his desire to leave - and after discussion with the player's representatives, United have agreed to give Real Madrid permission to talk to the player.

Matters are expected to be concluded by 30 June. The club will not comment until further notice."

Taken from the mancs own web site.

A gifted footballer, but a diving cheating arsehole of the lowest order. It's a true shame he was voted World player of the year. Should be Messi. :(

Just realised if I took out the "gifted footballer" bit from the first sentence above I could be describing Gerrard!! :-P

They might be able to buy 3 or 4 world class players with the money but it’s hard to see who they can get that will be as influential as him. I’d suggest that their trophy haul in the last 3 years would be significantly diminished had he not been around and they won’t be able to get anyone like Kaka or Messi.

When Real built the Galactico team they were allegedly 200 million in debt and the local bank manager bank rolled them. The local council then bought the stadium off them for 230 million and then leased it back to them for life for free… wonder why Blatter’s pox poodle Platini hasn’t looked at that situation the way he would if it was an English club, huh? The Twat.

I'm going to get battered for this from you lot but here it goes....

I'm going to miss Ronaldo. He is easily the best player in the world. Its players like him that make our league the best league in the world.

He is a moaning git and quite possibly a ladyboy but what id give to have him at Arsenal right now.

I for one, if he decides to go wish him well and hope we avoid real madrid next season.

It will be typical Ronaldo to stay at man utd anyway and say he couldn't bring himself to leave utd to make himself a legend!
