To sum it up, it is a nice start at home and a very tough start away from home
That period at the end of January and start of Feb will be massive, Villa, Man Utd, Chelsea and Liverpool in a row, if we are still in with a shout by this time then we have a massive chance as the run of fixtures from then until the end of the season is VERY VERY NICE! not one game where i think 'thats a tough one'

Uhhh....
How about Stoke (a), where we lost last season?
Or a North London Derby at WHL?
Or Birmingham (a), where we blew the title last year?
They are all games we can easily win if we bother! to be honest last season that Stoke game was a joke, i cant see that happening again!
and that Birmingham game was a freak result, 9 times out of 10 we would have just won that, it was one of those days, the dodgy pen, the eduardo incident and all that!
and The game against the spuds is always interesting, we dont lose there though do we, and if thats the hardest game in the last third of the season then it cant be bad can it!!

Sat Feb 6 Chelsea A
Tue Feb 9 Liverpool H
SHIT!
Or conversely… we’ll have played all the rest of the top 4 by the middle of Feb and before the CL knockout begins (assuming we’re still in it) leaving us with a more favourable run-in which is no bad thing as that’s when the fixtures mount up & our smaller squad struggles.
Plus hopefully Drogba & Essien wont be back from the ANC by the time we play the Chavs!

Well said IU4GN. . . Conspiricies what a load of old bollocks!!!!!!
If we are good enough we will win the league if not then it is players/Wengers fault not the FA's or the fixture list

good point. and i forgot about the ANC, so hopefully that could play a part
I for one believe that the run in of the last 12 matches are 30+ pts lol
I know its a big ask.....but if you wanted to hand pick your last dozen matches....you would not be far off what we got
Just think Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Villa, all 10 matches in the opening 26 games, thats a BIG game BIG BIG game every other two matches or so....NO EXCUSES....time to pull the sleeves up and really hammer it out in those 26 matches....then
Title party at the Lane...sometime around St.Totteringham's Day
Overall, the start and end of the season look ok. I'd rather get the game at Manure out of the way at the start of the season and ifd we do need points at the end of the year for whatever reason, the run-in doesn't look too bad.
OK what is it with the consecutive home or away fixtures? It happens 8 times and would have been 9 if the Bolton game hadn't been postponed. I thought one of the rules was that in general you have alternate home and away fixtures, obviously twice a season this can't be done but 9 times!
I think it will work against us, cos if you have a bad away result you can normally look forward to a decent home game afterwards.
