A thought came to me late last night: As Wenger is renowned for liking a balanced centre-back pairing (i.e. a left footer and a right footer), and our new signing Thomas Vermaelen is apparently left sided (as he was bought to also cover the left back position), does this mean that - contrary to speculation - Gallas is the more likely of the two players to be leaving the club? Or maybe will Silvestre be on his way out?
