My point being that you would presume that adie is a high profile player at the club, and just a picture of him jumping on cescs back (just a token gesture by the club i think) instead of him being a headline player advetising the new shirts, proves the club do not want to make the same mistake as they did with TH before he left the club.
I agree that in a lot of cases the people running our club are stupid and have no sense of the feeling on the ground amongst the fans but on this occasion I would be amazed if they were not aware of the depth of feeling against this *word censored*
I think they would hope to slide him back in slowly in the hope that if he stays he will win the fans back bit by bit....fcuk all chance of that

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2009 ... ene-wengerA rift appears to be developing between Arsène Wenger and Emmanuel Adebayor after Stephane Courbis, the striker's agent, revealed a lack of communication regarding the 25-year-old's future at the Emirates.
Courbis said they "had heard nothing" from the Arsenal manager following the Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani's admission that he had rung Wenger to discuss a potential move for the forward.
Last week Galliani claimed that because the first choice of Milan, the Wolfsburg forward Edin Dzeko, was now apparently out of reach Adebayor had become the new focus: "For Adebayor there has been a telephone call during which Wenger was friendly," he said.
But asked if the Arsenal manager had spoken to Adebayor about Milan's inquiries, Courbis said: "You will have to ask Mr Wenger if there has been an offer from Milan, or any other clubs, to Arsenal because I have heard nothing about any contact or any offer that has been made, so I don't know what the situation is. Speak to Mr Wenger."
Milan were reportedly interested in taking Adebayor to San Siro last summer and, while the club is still monitoring Dzeko and the Sevilla striker Luis Fabiano, they have yet to speak with the Togolese or his agent.
"So far no one, there has been no contact to us from Milan. Or any other club," Courbis confirmed. Arsenal declined to comment.
