Ramsey signs new contract

This contract could well be the worst move of his career, players need to play games wheter they're 17 or 30, and I can't see how players like him and Wilshere (Who I doubt will get many games this season either) are gonna develop if they don't play games. Is Wenger's plan they gonna learn by watching Song?
:?

Are you complaning that youngsters don't get a chance at Arsenal???

Are you saying we should play an EVEN younger team?? - maybe I'm wrong, but Wilshere has had quite a bit of exposure for a lad who was only 16 at the start of the season... and Ramsey is only a year older, so what's the rush?!

Anyway, Denilson, Bendtner, Theo, Nasri, Djourou, Gibbs, Song, Vela, etc. have played quite a bit this season, and they're hardly veterans are they?!

I'm speechless.... I've obviously misunderstood what you mean. :?

I like Ramsey on the occasions I have seen him play.

But predictably that wasn't very often last year as he hardly figured in the second half of the season. Typical of Wenger, he bangs on ceaselessly about 'great young talent etc....' and then when we do get one who looks half decent he's nowhere to be found.

If he had played a part in the Semi Final debacles at the business end of last year, it might not have changed the outcome but it might have improved Ramsey's perspective on matters. He didn't gain much sitting watching it with the rest of us.

I saw Ramsey at the training ground. He played well, scored two cracking goals, yet still we chose to play "Super" Nic. :barmaid:
